The CFLC offers a wide selection of activities, such as:

  • Anonymous support groups

  • Classes

  • Social activities

  • Arts and crafts

  • and much more!

The Consumer Family Learning Centers are peer-led facilities for people whose lives have been affected by mental illness and/or substance use. Located in Bakersfield, Tehachapi and Ridgecrest, the centers are funded by Kern Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (KernBHRS) through Mental Health Services Act funds. They are open to anyone 18 years of age or older who has an interest in mental health and substance use recovery.
