 all month long! The building will be illuminated in green lights for

Mental Health Awareness Month.

This date marks World Suicide Prevention Day, a time of reflection and awareness for those affected by suicide. KernBHRS will bring in experts for a virtual Town Hall to spark a local dialogue on what efforts are happening locally and how YOU can help continue the change.

KernBHRS and Kern High School District are partnering to encourage everyone to wear lime green every Tuesday in May to raise awareness for mental health!

Join KernBHRS and community partners,

Kern County Superintendent of Schools,

Kern High School District, Assemblyman Vince Fong and Kaiser Permanente, for the first Virtual Youth Mental Health Symposium. They will highlight local mental health resources available for students, raise awareness and explain the importance of working to end the stigma against mental health.
